Gloves before touching anything. Gloves before changing a lens. The surface was clean, the air was still. These objects were handled accordingly not because of protocol, but because of what they are.
Patek Philippe does not make watches. It passes them on. You don't need to be told that in the room. The objects say it themselves.

Patek Philippe Calatrava
Ref. 570G · 18k White Gold · 35.5mm
Caliber 27 SC · Manual wind · 18 jewels
Production: 1938–1972
The ref. 570 is the Calatrava at its most reduced. No complications, no ornament just a round case, a clean dial, and a movement that keeps time. Made in yellow, white, and rose gold, as well as platinum and steel, white gold examples like the 570G are among the rarest. This one is exactly what it looks like.

Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
Ref. 3970EP · 950 Platinum · 36mm
Caliber CH 27-70 Q · Manual wind · 60h power reserve
Complications: Perpetual calendar, chronograph, moon phase, leap year
The 3970 followed the ref. 2499 in 1986 and ran for 18 years across four series. EP stands for étanche (water resistant) and platinum. The movement inside the CH 27-70 Q shares its base with the Lemania caliber that went to the moon in the Omega Speedmaster. Patek rebuilt it from the ground up. It was the first chronograph to receive the Geneva Seal.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut "Jumbo"
Ref. 5065A · Stainless Steel · 38mm
Caliber 315 SC · Automatic · 45h power reserve
Water resistance: 120m · Production: 1997–2006
When the Aquanaut launched in 1997, it was Patek Philippe's first real sports watch since the Nautilus. The 5065A was the largest version of the first generation which is why collectors call it the Jumbo. It sold out immediately, mostly to established collectors, not the younger audience it was designed for. That irony is now part of its history.

Patek Philippe Table Mirror
Golden Ellipse form · Gilt brass frame · Solid wood base
1990s · Boutique display object · Never sold at retail
This mirror was made for Patek Philippe boutique displays, not for sale. When display materials were rotated out, pieces like this left the boutiques and became collectible objects. The frame follows the shape of the Golden Ellipse — a case design introduced in 1968 based on the golden ratio. Here, that form is no longer on the wrist. It frames a reflection instead.
